A coincidence. My two dogs and I are headed out to drive the Blue Ridge Parkway on Saturday. I would be great to join you group as a start off place. After leaving your group, we would head out for Newfoundland gap. Then head for Asheville and so on. You state no dogs. My dogs are both accustomed to hiking. We have done many trails. Two years ago we hiked and drove the Natchez Trace. Do you ever do hikes with dogs? I would be interested to know. I understand this one is not permitted.

Kelly ... are there any spots left for the Mayan trip in April? I was able to reserve a spot on the meetup calendar but do not see a link for payment. I know I'm late to the party but would like to go if still possible. Please let me know. Thanks, Bruce

I'm no lawyer but I suspect this is a form of age discrimination. I'm not a member of your group and not sure I would attempt this hike anyway (I'm 66). Wait until ACLU and AARP find out about you!

Hi Kelly, Just joining the CH Meetup, I saw a post about the Ultimate Hike Atlanta, and I'm wondering if you could post some information about my upcoming Ultimate Hike for Knoxville. I much need the support of other hikers. I'll be hiking 28.3 miles on November 5th and I'm at about 65 percent of my goal. Volunteering is my favorite form of giving.
