Have you been on the Virgin Falls hike before. Some today said it was pretty rough in the beginning. I've read a bit online and some say its strenuous....rocky and uphill quite a bit. I'm thinking of backing out of this one but not sure yet.

Thanks Tim, I did see the "easy" at the beginning of the hike description BUT sometimes my definition of easy isn't the same as others.LOL... so I thought it best to check.

I bet it was just awesome! Weather was perfect even if it was a bit chilly early this morning.
I ended up having to work until early afternoon. I'll want to hear all about it at the next hike or next meet up. Hope everyone had a great time!!

Thanks for the info found out today I'll have to work tomorrow. After really thinking about I'm probably not really ready yet for "packing stuff in" when I can barely get there myself! I'll keep working at it though.....Hopefully this same "beginner back packing" will be done again before too long!!!

I was "surfing" around and saw the OCS is having a beginners backpacking trip BUT see its full no more RSVP's allowed. Can you tell whoever the organizer is ....this is a great idea and I'd love to go on one sometime. I'd join the OCS ....but for the moment this was the easy way out....gotta run!! Thanks Tim!
