This was a nice easy hike for Memorial day. We started from the Chilhowee campground in Ocoee, hiked down to the falls, and returned to the campground for a delicious barbecue lunch. I ate too much, but it was a fun day outing. -
As usual a great group to hike with! I had not been able to hike for the past few months so it was wonderful to see everyone again and meet some new ones! Tim thanks for planning and hosting this hike as well as all the cooking, planning etc you did!! It was awesome for me to be able to do a hike a bit shorter than some of the other hikes! I had a great time! It was good to see some old friends, and meet some few ones. The trail was good and sitting near the falls was like sitting in front of an air conditioner. Everyone brought some yummy snacks and the vookout was a lot of fun. We'll have to do this one again later in the year!

Great group and had a blast meeting new friends...although the slithery ones not so sure about...he was kinda cute though:) Look forward to many more hikes with the group! Next time though will be more prepared for a "10-Mile" hike!! 1/4 mile to go I think is our new motto!! -

This was an awesome hike!! I am so glad I have hooked up again with the group!! Rhonda is an awesome leader and thank you for your patience for those of us a bit out of shape!! I look forwad to going on many more hikes!!

A very enjoyable day for my first hike with this group. Rhonda did a great job of making all us newbie feel welcome. The views were good, the hills weren't too big and the people were great. -

Beautiful setting, very helpful staff and volunteers. Schedule of events was not really clear, and so easy to miss the little races, etc. The painting table was good. Also, would have been nice if the flyer/info made clear that the face painting would be for a fee -- there's no ATM out there. :( Once again, missed any meetup people, but that's my luck. LOL I'm sure some were there when I was, or were likely there, but I wasn't wearing a "meetup" label, and neither were they. But the event itself and rangers and everthing was pretty good. -
A really outstanding event ... so much work went into this event, and it was fantastic ... thanks to all the rangers for their efforts in providing this great opportunity for everyone ... those that missed it, really missed out.
